Calling all budding sketch artists with some drawing experience: this cozy session held inside The Studio at The Lazy Buzzard invites you to deepen your craft in a warm, welcoming space. We’ll focus on perspective and composition as you sketch a serene open landscape, featuring a barn or shed nestled in nature.

 Please bring your favorite pencils and a sketching pad (11x14 or smaller, due to Studio space). Sketching pads will be available for purchase at The Lazy Buzzard.

Led by beloved local artist Estel Bilbrey, whose pencil work is currently showcased at 
The Lazy Buzzard, this workshop offers a rare chance to learn directly from one of Pikeville’s own. Estel brings both technical skill and a deep love of the craft—guiding participants through expressive detail and foundational technique.

Whether you sketch solo or alongside a Studio friend, expect gentle instruction, joyful prompts, and a setting that honors both precision and playful imagination.
